Plans are underway to upgrade the concrete access path to the Cottesloe Groyne, which has deteriorated due to aging infrastructure.

Town of Cottesloe Mayor Melissa Harkins explained to Perth Live host Oliver Peterson that expecting the Town to maintain the aging infrastructure of a state asset like Cottesloe Beach is a drain on ratepayer funds.

She added, “It would be fabulous to have the aging infrastructure improved and the whole area made worthy of the world class views.”
