Australians are expected to embrace the spooky spirit this year with a record $500 million spending on Halloween festivities, according to new research.

Fleur Brown, ARA Chief Industry Affairs Officer, explains to Perth Live host Russell Collette that more adults are getting involved in the spooky tradition, even with the cost of living crisis.

“Sometimes it’s an antidote to all the pressure that people are feeling, they want to just go out and let off steam and have fun,” she said.
