More than 15 years after the last major review of car restraints, data reveals that 75% of children fatally injured in road accidents were not restrained correctly for their age.

Sarah Sexton, Kidsafe CEO, explains to 6PR Breakfast that Australians are being asked to provide feedback on proposed changes to national guidelines concerning child restraints.
“The review is about making sure that our laws are easy for families to understand and that they reflect current evidence, vehicle design, and the diverse needs of children and families today,” she said.
