Flying in 2050 will come with an eye-watering price tag
New figures indicate that travellers could be paying an average of $1350 more for a plane ticket by 2050, with costs rising about $54 per passenger per flight each year.
Asia Dashboard Editor at Cirium Ellis Taylor spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said the big cost hike would come from the aviation industry making the move to renewable fuel which at the moment was “horrendously expensive”.
