Mosman Park Council stands by its decision to collect rates from a terminally ill patient, despite the strong contention that the patient is not at fault.

John Hammond from Hammond Legal conveyed to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that the council is additionally accused of initiating a deferred payment plan for the resident without her knowledge or consent.

‘She was told several years ago that she owed nothing to the Town of Mosman Park and that was confirmed by Mosman Park in writing,’ he said.
