A woman who lost her house after a fire sparked by a lithium battery says she would have died had her dog not woken her up.

Tracey Howard told Simon Beaumort she doesn’t feel like there’s enough awareness about the dangers posed by lithium batteries.

“We had done everything right; it was on its actual first charge, it was brand new,” she said.
