An emotional Callum Ah Chee has opened up about the difficulty of playing without his late father, who passed this month.

He spoke to Mark Foreman after he won his second premiership in as many years with a dominant Brisbane Lions side.

“I try not to get emotional about it, but my pop was a great man, so to have him pass was really hard.

“I looked up to him in the last quarter and said I hope he’s proud of me.

“I just hope all the family back home in Perth are proud.”
