The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is calling for an urgent shift to a pharmacy-first approach to relieve pressure on overstretched GPs and hospitals.

Pharmacy Guild of Australia national president Professor Trent Twomey spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said the aim was to relieve pressure on GP’s and emergency departments, and to reduce ambulance ramping in WA.
