Two-time Brownlow medallist and Perth native Patrick Cripps is eagerly anticipating swapping his Carlton jersey to represent his hometown in the AFL Origin, scheduled for Perth in early 2026.

Having returned to Perth during the off-season, Cripps shared with Perth Today host Simon Beaumont his enthusiasm for the chance to play alongside his elite WA-born mates.

“A lot of us get drafted; there’s only two teams in WA, so the chance to represent your state is pretty special,” he said.
