United Voice has today launched the “Our Turn to Care” campaign to challenge the Federal Government to stop cutting funding from the Aged Care sector.

The Aged Care union says recent funding cuts are hitting the sector hard and affecting the standard of care operators and their employees are able to offer.

“Workers in Aged Care are under pressure trying to care for people on a daily basis, funding is desperately needed and this industry can’t afford more cuts. says United Voice WA Assistant Secretary, Pat O’Donnell.

Michael Maher is the CEO of the Aged Care Development Network and told Steve and Baz says it’s not an easy industry for people to navigate or work in.
