An error in a single homeowner’s rates bill has uncovered a widespread issue, affecting thousands of other ratepayers in the Town of Cambridge.

Business News journalist Nadia Budihardjo informed Perth Today host Chrissy Morrissy that the town has acted swiftly, already holding a meeting to address the error.

“I didn’t realise that it was this technical error that ended up overcharging $999,739 to 4633 properties in part of City Beach and Floreat,” she said.
