The City of Wanneroo has agreed to open talks with the State Government on a potential council boundary restructure which could see some existing suburbs palmed off to neighbouring council the City of Joondalup.

City of Wanneroo mayor Linda Aitken spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said the local government area was “growing” and council was looking at all options that were “financially responsible” and in the best interests of ratepayers.
