Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has announced the Iranian government directed at least two attacks against the Jewish community in Australia, and has therefore expelled the Iranian Ambassador from the country.

Australian National University’s Centre for Arab and Islamic Studies Ian Parmeter spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said the move indicated the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had an “imperfect understanding” of what the consequences of action like this in Australia could result in.
