A CHOICE report on sunscreens has revealed that many products fail to meet their stated SPF levels, with one so ineffective it’s been removed from sale.

Ashley de Silva, Chief Executive of CHOICE, told Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that CHOICE is urging the TGA to fast-track its investigation to ease public worries about sunscreen efficacy.

“There are understandable questions, I think, that people want to know: is the product that I am buying actually working?” he said.
