Western Australians have lost more than $30 million to investment scams since 2024.

One of the victims, Vince, lost more than $100,000 and now hopes that by sharing his experience he can warn others about how convincing these scams can be.

He told Perth Live host Oliver Peterson that he even engaged his solicitor to investigate the company, and everything appeared legitimate.

“From buying the shares to talking to their accounts guy, talking to the guy that was handling the sale agreement, it was just well orchestrated,” he said.
