The City of Vincent has backed a new five-year vision for the Leederville town centre precinct which includes plans for a pedestrian-friendly Oxford Street.

City of Vincent mayor Alison Xamon spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said community feedback revealed locals believed it would be “ideal” for part of Oxford Street to become a pedestrian only precinct.
