Concerning scale of medicinal cannabis being prescribed to Australians

A single doctor at Australia’s largest medicinal cannabis company churned out 72,000 prescriptions to 10,000 patients in just two years, prompting fresh alarm about potentially unsafe prescribing practices in the booming sector.
Former Chair and co-founder of the Australian Medicinal Cannabis Association Lucy Haslam spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said when COVID 19 came along and opened the nation up to Telehealth, this allowed for patients to be put on the back foot and suddenly the focus was on profit.
