The Cook government has announced an advertising blitz targeting the Eastern States in an effort to retain Western Australia’s share of the GST.

To gauge the Eastern States’ perspective, Perth Today host Simon Beaumont spoke with Clinton Maynard, host of Sydney Now, about the campaign.

“You have so much money in WA, in Perth that you can actually afford to spend money on an advertising campaign to say that you deserve the money from us,” Maynard stated.
