Hundreds of patients have reportedly experienced worrying reactions after consuming over-the-counter supplements, leading to a potential class-action lawsuit against Australian supplement giant Blackmores.

Associate Professor Joanna Harnett informed Perth Live host Oliver Peterson that these reactions appear to stem from excessive levels of vitamin B6.

“When these are taken in high amounts for longer periods of time in some individuals, it can lead to an adverse effect that affects their nervous system,” she said.
