A new ECU study has found that learning music plays a critical yet overlooked role in enhancing the wellbeing of children and adolescents.

ECU School of Education lecturer and lead author of the research Dr Jason Goopy spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live fill-in presenter Mark Doran and said from early childhood right to the end of life we need opportunities to engage in music and learn music.
