Former federal health minister Greg Hunt says state governments should pay private hospitals to shorten wait lists for medical procedures in public wards.

Day Hospitals Australia CEO Jane Griffiths spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said it was an option that State governments should be looking at.
