A contact centre for Qantas has been the target of a cyber attack, leading to a data breach of six million customers.

University of NSW Cybercrime, Cyberwar and Cyberterror Professor Richard Buckland spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said the data stolen wasn’t Qantas’ core data including financial or system data affecting plane safety, but included customers information like dates of birth, addresses and email addresses.
