This strategy enables them to secure a property in a more affordable location while maintaining a rental in their desired area.

Nerida Conisbee, Ray White Group Chief Economist, informed Perth Live host Oliver Peterson that affordable properties are still accessible in WA, and rentvesting offers a vital pathway into the market.

“They may want to live in a capital city for their work, or they might want to be somewhere to be close to family, but increasingly, because affordability’s declining, it’s getting way too expensive for them,” she said.
