National Disability Insurance Agency’s recommendation to freeze service costs for the sixth consecutive year is causing allied health providers to haemorrhage money.

Speech Pathologist Rachel Loughridge warns Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that if businesses are forced to close, it will further strain the already struggling health system.

“If businesses start to close, there are going to be longer wait lists which means access to early intervention is going to dwindle and more people are at risk,” she said.
