The public transport system’s Tap and Go technology is facing significant issues, currently running six and a half years behind its projected roll-out and massively over budget.

Opposition leader Basil Zempilas suggested to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont, it’s another instance of the state government failing to deliver.

“When we talk about getting things done, we talk about them getting done on time and on budget, and here’s an example of neither of these two things happening.” he said.
