Generosity saves a Cavoodle puppy born with a critical birth defect

A 5-week-old tiny Cavoodle puppy was surrendered with a very rare condition that left the puppy without an anus.

Kate Doyle of Warwick Veterinary Hospital explains how she organised an emergency fundraiser and, thanks to the generosity of the community, was able to arrange a specialist vet to make Tooshie a new butthole, saving his life.
“It’s going to be a long road because he may need some long-term care,” she said.
