Mal Meninga will step down from his current role as the coach of the national side, which he has held since 2015, to coach the Perth Bears from 2027.

Inaugural Perth Bears coach Mal Meninga spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said it was a “huge responsibility” and there was a lot of work to be done in the next 18 months.
