Concerns are growing over the lack of regulation on LED lighting in vehicles, with reports suggesting it is creating hazards for oncoming traffic.

James Ward, Director of Content at Drive, told 6PR Breakfast hosts Millsy and Karl that drivers can too easily modify their vehicle lighting.

“The bigger issue here is people making aftermarket conversions or adding extra lighting to vehicles that weren’t designed for such bright lights. That’s when you start to run into problems,” he said.
