The Post will soon be printed on its own printing presses. It will be the only rotary newspaper press in the state outside the monopoly newspaper group.

Bret Christian, Post Newspapers editor, explained to Perth Today’s Simon Beaumont what inspired them to import the printing press from Canada.

“It is very expensive, much more expensive than it was two years ago when there was competition, and monopoly are always a bad thing, they always force prices up and that’s what’s happened in this case,” he said.
