Housing minister accused of cowardice as residents face escalating violence and disorder

Inglewood residents are at their wits’ end as escalating aggressive and antisocial behaviour stemming from a unit complex continues to be ignored.

Inglewood resident Melissa Molinari explained to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont that the residents have pleaded with Housing Minister John Carey to meet with them and hear their concerns, but the lack of response forced them to confront him in Parliament, where he agreed to meet with them.
“He later retracted that saying that he was too busy and fled parliament like a rabbit at a greyhound meet and was out of there before any of us even had the chance to meet with him,” she said.
