Wanneroo residents have raised concerns with a planned $35 million shopping complex dubbed The Woodvale Corner in Woodvale.

Stop Traffic Chaos on Woodvale Drive spokesperson and City of Joondalup councillor Daniel Kingston spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said it was an “ambitious plan” and it wasn’t earmarked in the right spot.

City of Wanneroo mayor Linda Aitken said in a statement to 6PR Radio that in a submission to the Western Australian Planning Commission, the City will outline its objection to the proposed development and note a low-density residential development would be more appropriate at the corner of Wanneroo Road and Woodvale Drive.
