Chair of Bundaberg Distilling Co, Amanda Lampe joined Millsy & Karl on 6PR Breakfast, as taxes on alcohol are set to increase again from the beginning of February.

Ms Lampe told Millsy & Karl, “It is now a luxury to have a drink with your friends on a Friday evening.”

Ms Lampe is calling for the government to freeze alcohol tax increases, arguing that the rising costs are hurting the economy. With food and beverage prices soaring in Australia, she believes it’s driving away overseas visitors.
