The State Government has announced that Perth will host a Socceroos v Japan Asian Cup qualifier.

6PR News Director Jake Battrick told 6PR Breakfast show hosts Millsy and Mick that this is the first time the Socceroos will play at Optus Stadium.

“It’s an important game; it’s the second-to-last World Cup qualifier for the Socceroos,” he said.
