An IGA owner in East Vic Park has suffered two black eyes after confronting multiple alleged shoplifters.

Reporter Anne Barclay told the 6PR Breakfast Show that she spoke to the owner, who says this alleged assault is not an isolated incident in his family-run store.

“He said he has been attacked multiple times before in the past,” said Anne.
