As the Christmas lights are about to be officially switched on, many residents are following through on their threats to turn the annual Mandurah Canal Christmas lights into a protest against a recently approved development in Halls Head.

Amanda Giblett, a Mandurah resident, explained to 6PR Breakfast hosts Karl and Mark what protest action these residents are planning.
“There will probably be rolling blackouts during the Christmas–New Year period,” she said.
