A Perth couple have been found guilty of starving their daughter.

The case has fascinated the community, and 6PR’s Gary Adshead spoke to Tanveer Ahmed, a psychiatrist, to try to make sense of such abuse.

“It’s usual for these parents or groups to have what’s called extreme threat sensitivity; they think the wider world is corrupt,” he said.
