Locals felt the tremors from a magnitude 4 earthquake recorded just off WA’s south coast.

Peter Rowe, a 6PR listener, described the strange sensation he felt while staying in Augusta:

‘I recognised it instantly; everything was just rocking back and forth, and I thought, this is an earthquake, I’ve felt this before. It was a bit surreal,’ he said.
