A close call has left a Fremantle resident shocked after she nearly stepped on a fox trap at a well-used Fremantle park.

Local resident Talia West explained to 6PR’s Gary Adshead how these contraptions have already trapped and injured pet dogs in the area.

“There’s nothing to stop a child playing in the bush and stepping on one of these,” she said.
