The Consumer Protection Commissioner, Trish Blake joined Julie-Anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons to discuss some staggering losses experienced by those targeted by payment redirection scams.

Eleven WA victims have reported losing a total of $503,285 so far this year to payment redirection scams which exceeds the $501,028 lost by 29 victims in 2023.
