Technology which helps police with number plate identification is a ‘game-changer’ in terms of helping crackdown on hoons according to Peter Palamara from the Curtin-Monash Accident Research Centre at Curtin University. His comments come after new figures show that 400 vehicles a month are being seized by WA Police for hoon offences.
