Digital identity will go mainstream throughout Australia from 2024 and it may feel… less than exciting.

Technology is ever changing in today’s day and age, especially with promising self-driving cars and artificial intelligence.

Policy Specialist at the Human Institute at UTS Lauren Perry spoke with Jo McManus on 6PR Afternoons. 

“In an ideal world when it’s done right, digital ID has the potential to minimise the amount of personal information we’re sharing and putting out into the ether,” she said.
