A 23-year-old man has been arrested at a southern suburbs shopping centre, charged over a bikie shooting in Baldivis.

The man is facing three serious charges, accused of firing a gun towards the home of a Mongols gang member last week.

Head of Gang Crime Gordon Fairman says there’s been growing tensions between the Mongols and Rebel bikie gangs for some time.

“Whenever you’ve got groups of people who are prepared to carry out acts like this, then we do need to be concerned,” Cdr. Fairman said.
