Researchers have captured rare recordings of echidnas making a range of sounds, but only during the breeding season.

Dr Christine Cooper from Curtin University’s School of Molecular and Life Sciences joined Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR’s Afternoons to explain the peculiar sounds.
