Every football pundit and their dog across the country has now shared their view on the Adelaide/Sydney goal controversy, with no word so far on what might change in terms of official reviews.

South Australia’s longest-serving footy journalist Michelangelo Rucci told Millsy and Karl on 6PR Breakfast it’s been a controversial lead-in to the finals.

“They were tracking to play finals for the first time in six years,” Mr Rucci said.

“But I wasn’t surprised when the AFL announced that they were sorry, but the decision still stands.”
