A Southern Suburbs school has had to go into lockdown multiple times because of a nine-year-old student who has created an environment of constant violence, according to parents.

A mother of a student at the school told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings her daughter has returned home from school with bruises and other injuries, as have other students, but nothing has been done about the issue.

“I’ve been to the Education Department, I’ve been to the police; they cannot do anything about it until this kid physically hurts somebody or kills a child,” she said.
