Department of Education Director General Lisa Rodgers has refuted claims she ‘urged’ principals to encourage a yes for the Voice Referendum. 

Ms Rodgers told Oliver Peterson on 6PR Perth Live this simply isn’t the case but just wants principals to be ready. 

“Think it through and consider your position as principals as community leaders and how you’re going to handle it in your schools,” Ms Rodgers said. 

“One of the most important thing for us is making sure students are informed”.
