Perth Live host Oliver Peterson has made the difficult decision to depart the 6PR family, choosing to share the news with his listeners first.

Peterson, who began at 6PR as the youngest full-time talkback radio presenter in Australia, explained in a passionate speech that while he has loved his nine years at the station, it is time for a new challenge.

He shared his gratitude, saying, “Thank you for your support of me and thank you for the support of our show Perth Live, something that I am incredibly proud of,” he said.
