On 29 May 2014 6PR broadcast a news report concerning raids on homes across Perth and charges made in association with drug trafficking. The broadcast referred to four men, including the President of the Islamic Council of Western Australia. 6PR wishes to clarify that the President of the Islamic Council of Western Australia Dr Rateb Jneid has not been charged with drug offences of any kind. 6PR regrets the error made in our news broadcast and apologises to the President of the Islamic Council of Western Australia for the offence caused.
