The State government has announced an extra $500 million for major health infrastructure projects including an upgrade of the Royal Perth Hospital emergency department.

Minister for Health Infrastructure John Carey spoke to 6PR Radio Perth Live presenter Oliver Peterson and said the State government was given an opportunity to look at where to invest additional funding.
