The City of Wanneroo is installing 250 new signs in an effort to safeguard wildlife from vehicle collisions.

Councillor Jacqueline Huntley explains to 6PR Breakfast host Millsy and Jamie that the high levels of development are causing a significant amount of wildlife movement near increasingly busy roads.

She said: “It’s going to be an enormous amount of movement of wildlife and people just don’t expect wildlife to come straight out in front of them,” she said.
